Phantasmagoria invites you into a fictional universe where religion, technology, and distortion blend together. In this world, the faith revolves around living architecture — buildings that are alive and form the heart of a unique belief system. Symbols like roots, glyphs, and sigils fill the landscape, creating a mysterious atmosphere. The colour palette, appearing nearly black‑and‑white at first glance, hides subtle RGB tones, reflecting the deeper layers of this universe where things aren’t always what they seem.
At the center of this world are angelic figures called C.L.E.A.N.S.E, who control the flow of colour, seeing anything other than grayscale as “corruption.” They act as protectors, erasing colour to maintain balance, but others, known as “Corruptors,” challenge their rule, believing in a different truth. This conflict over colour and control is a central theme, leaving viewers to question who is truly in the right.
Inspired by artists like H.R. Giger and filmmakers such as Alex Proyas, Phantasmagoria combines large, surreal landscapes with intricate pixelated details. Glitch art and digital techniques are key to the artist’s process, creating distorted, otherworldly visuals that feel both futuristic and ancient. Each piece is layered with meaning, using digital glitches and distortions to explore the tension between control and chaos.
In this series, the glitch is more than a technique — it’s a way to embrace imperfection and reveal hidden beauty in error. Phantasmagoria challenges viewers to look deeper, uncovering new details with each glance and reflecting on the fine line between order and disruption in both art and life.
